Rating
I am definitely a fan of this towel. I do Bikram yoga 4-5 times per week, and this towel absorbs well, and fits perfectly on my mat. One Thirsty Towel was not cutting it for the frequency of my Bikram Yoga practice, so I bought 2 more. The price is right, and it does the job. I noticed a lot of people were saying this towel slides around on their mat - I do not experience this. Perhaps you aren't sweating enough to make this thing stick to your mat?? :) I sweat like a fire hydrant on full blast, so I am sure that is why my towel doesn't slide around my mat. If you don't sweat much, maybe you would be better off with the more expensive kind with the silicone dots.

Definitely a fan, and will probably buy a 4th!

Rating
I like this mat because it is very "sticky" so your hands and feet don't slide and the mat doesn't slide around the floor. Sometimes I'd say it's too sticky, but when you're holding downward dog for any length of time and you don't like your sweaty hands and feet sliding out from under you - this is the mat to have under you. Transitioning from downward dog or table to a lunge, well, your feet can get caught by the sticky-ness of this mat. The guy/girl versions of this don't matter, just a different color set. The pink/green would have made me puke, so I bought the blue/gray (guy's mat) of this. And my yoga instructor thought the positions printed right on the mat were a cool idea and they helped me learn the poses faster when I started because they were right in front of my face as a reminder.

I do have to agree with the other reviewer that if you don't know how to properly move into some of those poses you could really hurt yourself. At least it doesn't show Crane position.

I LOVE this product! I'm online now ordering more! I've used Yogi Toes for years & was always frustrated during the first half of class where you are not sweating enough to get the towel to grip properly but you're still slipping. I've tried wetting down the Yogi Toes but they really don't work well until you are dripping wet then you have to haul that sweaty mess around until you get home.
The Kulae towel is lightweight even after a heated class, grips well & easier to care for. The price is half the cost of Yogi Toes. I travel a lot & with the strict weight restrictions on luggage this is the perfect accessory as it can also be used as a towel.

I received the yoga mat plus these products as a gift...I loved the company so much that I inquired about a bag that was big enough for their long mat. They do have one!!! These are great products for helping with hot yoga and sweating. Need to buy more rosins!

I received these slip free products with an Aurorae Yoga mat and yoga bag for a gift. I've been Practicing yoga for 12 years and this is the 1st product that really stops slipping. Just put some powder on your mat where your hands and feet go then apply to your hands and feet. It has no smell and is not sticky. I keep the bag next to me on the cotton towel. When I start to sweat I wipe off the sweat with the towel and dab my hands with the rosin. Works Great!!!

This towel is great for Bikram (hot) yoga. It fits perfectly on my Gaiam yoga mat, absorbs sweat well, and isn't bulky when it's folded up in my bag. It was slippery after the first time I washed it, which was a little alarming. But since then I've been washing it without fabric softer and allowing it to air dry, and slipping is now minimal. I have no regrets about purchasing this towel instead of one of the more expensive ones, and have since bought three more!

Love this towel. It's great for soaking up the sweat. I find I have to mist it down first before I practice so it sticks better to my mat.

I only gave three stars because these headbands are a little lose. I have a pretty large head and when I wear these to hot yoga classes, the weight of my hair pulls on these, causing them to slip out of place. I have short, chin-length hair and I was disappointed they didn't stay in place better. Also there is not much elasticity to them, so if you like the feel of a tight and snug headband, try something else. I still use these to pull my hair back when I'm washing my face.
