I bought the smaller hand size towel because I didn’t want to wash the big towel all the time.
They warn that it will bleed if you don’t wash it twice before the first use, but I didn’t find that to be true.
You have to wet the towel before you use it. I still find that my hands slide, especially when holding down dog for a long time, but it’s better than not using the towel. It’s also better than using a hand towel. So, dont’ think that it’s going to be magic, but it will improve slippage.

Worked exactly as advertised for me. I No longer slip when doing down dog. Small and portable and easy to wash.

This item has been a wonderful purchase for me! During hot yoga sessions, my hands always get slippery, but this towel prevents me from slipping. During down dog, I am now sturdy and not slipping all over the place! I would recommend to spray it with water at the beggining of a class because when it’s dry, it doesn’t work as well.

During more vigorous sessions my hands would get wet and become slippery. This became a problem when I couldn’t stay in down-dog without sliding off the top of my mat. After I starting using this product, I no longer had that problem. I still occasionally will slid a bit but it has reduced this problem 90-95%.

the towel doesn’t slip on the mat but my hands still slip on on the towel. I was looking for something that would help my hands to not slip on my yoga mat.

this is a great item if you have trouble with your hands slipping in downdog. I have tried many other items and this is the only one that works for me.

I originally bought the Yogitoes mat sized towel & decided that it was too bulky & cumbersome, though I still plan on using it while out of town. Usually it is my hands that are slipping & this towel is defintely helpful. I bought the light blue & have not noticed any fading/bleeding. It for sure works better once it is a little damp which is not problem during an Astanga class!

YogiToes are an expensive investment but totally worth it if you can swing the cost.
I do Hot Yoga daily and use YogiToes everyday along with my mat and let me just tell you, these make my workout much simpler because I am not consitently fixing my towel and slipping all over the place from pools of sweat. YogiToes repell sweat really well and make it possible to hold poses for long periods of time without slipping. They wash really easily too, although I do no recomend ever washing these with any sort of laundry “softner” as they will ruin the “grips” on the back of the towels. You can easily get 3-5 years out of these towels with regular use.
My favorite color is the Teal!

I usually use a normal hand sized towel on my mat during hot yoga but it bunches and isn’t the most reliable. This towel, however, does the exact opposite. It stays in place the entire time (even as I sweat buckets on it!) so I don’t have to worry about my hands slipping from my sweaty mat. A great buy!
